Synchronizing Products & Offers Between Shopify and Thiio

Purpose

This guide will walk you through the process of synchronizing products registered in Shopify with your Thiio solution. It includes steps to initiate product synchronization, and manage synchronization settings for products, offers, and status.

Prerequisites

Before starting the synchronization process, ensure the following:

  • Existing Shopify Integration: You must have the required API integration for Shopify created with the appropriate API access.

  • Admin Access in Thiio: Ensure you have administrative access to both Shopify and Thiio to configure synchronization settings.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Syncing Products from Shopify to Thiio

  1. Once API permissions are set, go to your Thiio system.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations section.

  3. Locate your Shopify integration and click on configure.

  4. Locate and click the Sync option using the navigation arrow at the top of the drawer..

  5. Under synchronize ensure that the Sync products and Sync offers toggle is enabled.

  6. Click the blue Sync button inside of the Synchronize section.

  7. Wait for the synchronization process to complete.

    • Upon completion, you will receive a notification confirming the sync status.

3. Managing Sync Status and Settings

  1. In the Synchronize panel there are filtering options available.

  2. Vendor Name: Filter products based on the vendor name for selective syncing.

  3. You can also turn on Allow sync status, this will notify you when a new sync is completed. Either via clicking the sync button or from a Shopify webhook trigger.
